Sunday 17 we went to discover a very beautiful and obviously very famous territory in the world, Le Cinque Terre;  we have naturally rented an eMTB in La Spezia.

[row][column size=’col-md-6′ ] Bike features:
Atala Front 27.5 B-WARE
Battery 400
Km: 42
Gap Altitude: 1100 mt

Time: 6 hours[/column][column size=’col-md-6′ ] [/column][/row]

We started from La Spezia at about 9.45 am and the first part went up on asphalt for about 6 km (for trained people we went up in MODE ECO, for the less trained in MODE TOUR). The view on La Spezia is fabulous. At the top, at the telegraph, we had breakfast with a good pie and coffee and then we started along the path 530 that leads us to Volastra. Up and down without any difficulty suitable for everyone (MODE OFF).
After a short ride in the alleys (ATTENTION: in all areas after the second bar you go by foot and push the bike), we went down to Manarola on the asphalt road for lunch.

After a break of about half an hour we left towards Riomaggiore; halfway, we descended directly from a path at times with steps. Short break and then restart to pedal to arrive in a bar for a break beer (given the high temperatures we needed a fresh drink). The tour is almost over, the last km are downhill to La Spezia to return the bikes for 16.00

After about 42 KM, we used 2/5 of battery (see photo)

About Rent

We hired bikes in La Spezia at a price of € 35, eMTB front bike. A repair kit and pump was provided and a lock. Lights only on a bike, but not working.

Attention: in the section on the road there are three galleries, so it is important to have lights working to be visible. The galleries also have a small pedalable sidewalk, but some sections are very dark.

Notes: Along the way you meet many fountains to fill the water bottles.

We are MTB guides of the Langhe and Roero. We are waiting for you in Piedmont for a nice tour in our hills to discover the Barolo, the Barbaresco and the Medieval Castles.

Here you are some of our proposals.
